The Stallions have announced the passing of club CEO, Mr Mlibo Pupuma, on Wednesday morning 21 January 2026, who passed on Tuesday morning.
In a statement released by Head of Marketing of the football club, Sinothando Pupuma, the club announced the passing of Mr Mlibo Pupuma at the age of the 43-year-old club senior member.
“The Pupuma family announces with great sadness the passing of our beloved brother, son, uncle, and father, Mlibo Pupuma. Funeral arrangements will be shared in due course” read the statement.
Mlibo Pupuma, played a vital role in the club since its arrival to the scene in Premier Soccer League.
Messages of support and condolences have been pouring in to the club from the football landscape in the country, with many lamenting the suddenness and shock of the passing.
