Milford FC moved to the top of the Championship table with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over Black Leopards at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex.
Despite it being only the beginning of the season, many teams in the NFD are already eyeing to cement their spot at the peak of the league table.
Lidoda Duvha were keen to build on the dominant victory displayed last weekend when they put Kruger United to the sword by 3-0 in the last match.
The Limpopo based outfit began the match very strong once again as they led early in the match through a wonderful goal from their attack-minded forward, Thabani Mabena.
Milford however, rose to the fore to strike back after Bulelani Sigomoshe finished from the penalty spot a beautiful penalty.
The winning goal came from Sifiso Mdluli’s spectacular finish which ensured that the Richards Bay based team collected all three points, moving to the summit of the table as well.
