Hundreds of young hopefuls attended Milford FC’s open trials for the DStv Diski Challenge at the Empangeni Rugby Club on Sunday.
The trials targeted talented young players aged between 16 and 19 (born between 2007 and 2010).

The Richards Bay-based club secured its spot in the elite league after grinding out a hard-fought draw against Magesi FC two weeks ago to navigate the grueling PSL promotion playoffs successfully.
Upon entering the lucrative Betway Premiership, the club will receive substantial financial grants from the Premier Soccer League.
Consequently, league regulations now mandate that the newcomers field a competitive reserve squad in the DStv Diski Challenge next season, sparking this urgent search for local KZN talent.
